Misako Aoki on Deka Wanko

Misako Aoki is on that new Japanese Drama, Deka Wanko. Episode 6, I believe.

For those who don't know Misako, she is one of the three ambasadors of Kawaii in Japan. She is also widely known as a lolita fashion model. What people may not know is that she is also a nurse.

Deka Wanko is a new Japanese Drama (currently airing!) about a Gothic Lolita detective who solves cases using her nose.

I'd say this drama isn't so bad. I like it! They also have featured clothes from Angelic Pretty, Bodyline, and a few others. You can find more about the coordinates on their website. I'm still waiting for the English subbed ones to come out. So far, I've only been able to find up to Episode 3 subbed.

It's Misako's acting debut, I've heard. She's so cute in that drama!  

Back To the Mall!

Anna, Claire, (Got permission to use her name!) and I went to the mall yesterday! We bought a load of manga again.  Anna bought a few mangas this time surprisingly.

There's my domo backpack at Anna's house! I came an hour early, so we had lots of time to waste!

My mangas! Anna bought me Oresama Teacher. Thank you very much, Anna! 

Anna's mangas she bought. She says her limit is six, so it's a first that she only bought four.

Claire and I also bought ribbons for decoration. She wanted to decorate a shirt, and mine was originally for my mirror, but I think I might decorate my bookshelf instead. She bought a dark pink animal print ribbon, and I bought light pink ribbon with white polka dots. 



I can't wait to start decorating things with my new ribbons! If it doesn't look terrible, I'll post a picture of my results.

About the item:
I got this cell phone holder at Pacific Mall last year. They're $5 each! I remember that other colours they came in were pink, green and yellow. I don't know if they can hold iphones, but it fits my LG Xenon very well. They make a perfect addition to making your room more kawaii!

About the item:

I got this pen from Animal World, a store that just closed down last year (I miss you guys!) It writes in pink, but as it dries, the ink on the paper turns gold. I tried to take a picture of the ink, but you cant really see it in the picture. T^T My sister has the same one, but in blue. I think I'll start a kawaii pen collection from now on!

Angelic Pretty Earthquake Disaster Update

Good news, lolitas! Angelic Pretty's employees are safe! You can read their message in french here.

March Break Calls For Some Shopping!

I'll be going on a shopping trip on Monday with Anna, Julie, and C-chan soon! I can't wait to buy more manga! Although I'm not sure I'll be able to buy any manga, since I'm saving up for the MTAC (next weekend!). I know Anna will for sure buy manga, so I'll put up a post about our stuff we'll buy.

The one manga I really want is finally in stock at my local Chapters!

There are three copies in stock, and I hope I'll own one of the three! I found it really funny when I read it online. I only read the first chapter, but I found it worth buying, so I really hope it'll still be there.  

At the back, it says,

Mafuyu is the ideal yanki chick-no-nonsense, take-charge, and hard-hitting. But when she gets expelled for being a delinquent, her mother, fed up with her daughter's wayward ways, sends Mafuyu to an isolated school far off in the country.

In regards to the recent Japanese tsunami disaster, I have contacted my relatives in the Pacific, and they were fine. They told me that the water rose a few feet, but nothing really happened. To think I was scared that morning! I still watch the news a few times a day to recieve updates. It turns out the ceiling of the nuclear plant caved in this morning, and a fire started. There are worries because there was a radiation leak.

Kana Nishino and WISE collaborate-again!

It's been a while since they've last had a song together - Tokutemo and Aenakutemo. (Tokutemo being Kana's version, and Aenakutemo being WISE's version. They're two versions of the same song).

Once again, they've collaborated to bring forth yet another beautiful song-By Your Side. I've waited for this song forever, ever since I found out they were collaborating on Jpop Asia.

For those who've known Kana as long as I have, this is the first video I've ever seen her in jeans. Yes, jeans, instead of her usual skirts and dresses. Very shocking.
